Human trafficking is a hidden crisis that can touch any community. At 31:8 Project, our mission is to equip and challenge society to proactively address this urgent issue. As a community-driven nonprofit, we empower people to recognize and respond by educating, advocating, and raising awareness through dynamic workshops, regional summits, and customized presentations. We also walk alongside survivors, amplifying their strength through our Survivor Mentorship program, and bring comfort and hope to at-risk youth with Bravery Backpacks filled with necessities – addressing the immediate physical and emotional needs of children rescued from harm. Human trafficking is real — and it happens in North Dakota. The professionals, agencies, and community members responding to this crisis face complex challenges: educating the public, apprehending offenders, supporting survivors, and advancing prevention. The 6th Annual 31:8 Project Human Trafficking Summit convenes experts and frontline voices to share knowledge, practical strategies, and pathways for coordinated action.
