31:8 Project, in conjunction with the North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force and Watford City's Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force, were contacted to assist law enforcement and emergency service providers in collecting donations to help children in vulnerable situations who are in need of additional resources.
31:8 Project continues to raise awareness on exploitation and human trafficking throughout North Dakota. It is through our work and partnerships with similar organizations that we have continued to identify the many unmet needs that North Dakota's youth are facing.
Our hope is that with the Bravery Backpacks supplies drive, children in vulnerable situations will find aid and comfort with the items we are requesting to be donated. These items include everything from toiletries, clothing and activities.
These backpacks will be distributed throughout Western North Dakota. The drive will run from May 1st to June 14th.
We are asking that you help us raise awareness about this opportunity and encourage your communities to donate what they can, and to distribute the attached flyer. This flyer highlights the items needed as well as contact information for drop-off instructions and any questions you may have regarding the Bravery Backpacks supplies drive.
For updates on this project, visit the 31:8 Project Facebook page (facebook.com/318project) to find the Bravery Backpacks event.
We truly appreciate your support in this community effort to provide for North Dakota's children in need.
