PRESENTATION

Under NDCC § 15.1-09-61, schools are required to provide annual human trafficking and exploitation prevention and awareness education to students in grades 6, 10, and 12.

31:8 Project and Youthworks were selected through the state's Human Trafficking Education Grant initiative to provide this education statewide. The curriculum was developed specifically to align with North Dakota's requirements for developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive, best-practice education.

The 31:8 Project and Youthworks curriculum was formally approved by the North Dakota Attorney General's Human Trafficking Commission in June 2026 and is available to schools at no cost.
